I finally broke down and purchased the First Person Shooter character creation series Part 1: Sculpting. It is very good!

On the 3D Coat Buy tutorials page it mentions topology and painting as upcoming parts to the series. Anyone know the status of these?

I thought it might be good to mention that I had problems downloading the videos from Plimus. I tried Firefox, Chrome, and Internet Explorer. The only solution I found was to use the Firefox plugin DownThemAll!. A very handy utility for downloading files off the web.

I had some problems downloading as well. I use chrome without a download manager. Mus helped me out and is very friendly and accomodating.

I am quite enjoying the series. It can get a little long buuut you get to see everything. I am a beginner and I really learned a lot seeing an artist do his thing without the usual time lapse.

I hope the topology and painting tutorials are on their way.
