very much agree!

would be awesome to also be able to have it work such that you 'use initial click' as a starting point and

3DC interpolated the voxel or mesh normals from there such that you could, for example, click a point

on a character's wrist and deform radially around that wrist forming a 'band'. (having the option of normals

or global space would be nice, too)

this would be especially handy in combination with various symmetry modes as well...

:)

Given even a biped symmetry (2 sided), one ought to be able to multi-copy and rotate-distribute (later). Then "fuse" together... I've used booleans, (or alternatively, loosely "join" or "group" in formZ, even with a "clone" feature which can later allow mutual-simultaneous edits)....

At some point i would love to see what tools 3dC uses to fuse and copy-rotate. Very slow going here, but hope to catch up (with learning 3dC) in the coming months.

Don't we have this with the Axial tool? ...

No, unfortunately not.

What we need, is to paint new content with a radial symmetry. The axial tool is good, and should not be discarded but it is not the same like axial symmetry while painting voxels or textures.
