Member Kappikarpfen Posted September 28, 2014 Member Report Share Posted September 28, 2014 Hello, I always get "out of memory" crashes with my Models. I set virtualspace in Windows 8.1 to 8 GB on one ssd and another 10 GB on one other drive. 3dcoat still says i have only 4 GB max. virtual space free (bottom left corner). Atm iam confused i need these bigger models what can i do ? I attached one picture of the problem.

Contributor ajz3d Posted September 29, 2014 Contributor Report Share Posted September 29, 2014 Maybe you accidentaly downloaded a 32-bit version?
Member Kappikarpfen Posted September 29, 2014 Author Member Report Share Posted September 29, 2014 Mhh could be possible, i have the steam version. In the steamfolder only 3D-CoatGLC.exe and 3D-CoatDXS.exe are working. I think i maybe overlooked the 32/64bit thing.
New Member madlion Posted September 30, 2014 New Member Report Share Posted September 30, 2014 The 64bit 3d coat steam version didn't worked for me as well. Only the 32bit version works. I have to download the latest build form the website and that 64bit version runs without issues.

Andrew Shpagin
I tried steam version and all builds work as expected, including 64-bit. At least it runs. But of course 4.1.17 is best now
