Advanced Member Ratchet Posted August 2, 2014 Advanced Member Report Share Posted August 2, 2014 It would help a lot to have same account for forum and Mantis, it's not the case it seems ? A usefull feature would be some button in 3D coat to send a bug directly from 3D coat, it would take 3D coat screenshot of viewport with you comment you would have entered. This would allow faster bug report for anyone and lot more precise with a screenshot. About bug as i can't go to Mantis, here is the problem , in retopo the view Zbuffer is behave strangely cursor and lines disappering when zooming (I'm using last Beta version) (Win 64, Radeon 7700, Win7) 2nd bug, the strokes on retopo mode after they are drawn by hand they are transformed in lines ? How to avoid that ?
Contributor ajz3d Posted August 2, 2014 Contributor Report Share Posted August 2, 2014 (edited) Hello Ratchet. To answer your questions: #1: I experienced this once. Wireframe starts to disappear on zoom if model's scale is too small. I suggest to scale it up (about ten times should do, for starters) and check if the problem persists. #2: Because the scale of your model is very small, density of spline points must be significantly increased. Try several thousands per cent or more, but I still recommend to scale the model. Generally speaking, if model's scale is too small, you will experience all sort of bugs. Advanced Member Ratchet Posted August 2, 2014 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted August 2, 2014 (edited) Thanks it corrected the problem. Perhaps 3D coat should have some warning box in Retopo room when checking model global size is too small ?
