Advanced Member Denis Posted October 8, 2013 Advanced Member Report Share Posted October 8, 2013 Here is something I've been working on for awhile. This is a recreation of something I found over at Deviant Art. Link This dude has some really nice work. I'm just a hobbyist, and I don't have much imagination, so all I do is recreate. All done in 3D Coat V4.
Advanced Member Denis Posted November 10, 2013 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted November 10, 2013 Here is something I did in 3D Coat recently. Mostly inspired from the pirates of the caribbean. The background was obtained from a free wallpaper site.
Advanced Member alvordr Posted November 16, 2013 Advanced Member Report Share Posted November 16, 2013 Great start on these. The legs are a little short. I like the pirate scene, but his face is squashed. It might also benefit from a sail in the background or ropes hanging down and a barrel or two? Member silkroadgame Posted December 12, 2013 Member Report Share Posted December 12, 2013 Looking good so far. But I suggest you to make the mace better,it looks like a street lamp now.
Advanced Member Denis Posted December 28, 2013 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted December 28, 2013 Here's my attempt at Steampunk. It was done primitives, booleans and some of tinker"s greebles.

Advanced Member Aleksey Posted December 29, 2013 Advanced Member Report Share Posted December 29, 2013 nice! I like the steam punk, but i think there is too much empty space in the model. And steam punk usually has less welding and more screwing pieces together. Also for the lady in the first post i think her neck is too wide. =)
Advanced Member Denis Posted January 11, 2014 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted January 11, 2014 Here's something I did completely in 3DC. The last scene I used a photo from http://naturespicwallpaper.com/. I Can't use this scene for anything commercial because of the copyright. You can tell the Dwarf doesn't fit perfectly but this is just for fun.
Contributor ajz3d Posted January 12, 2014 Contributor Report Share Posted January 12, 2014 Denis, each of your new sculptures is better than preceding ones. Excluding the pirate, who I unfortunately don't like (he's out of proportions). The steampunk vehicle and the dwarf are really nice! May I suggest sculpting a dwarven woman now? I always wondered if they too have beards.

Advanced Member Denis Posted July 31, 2014 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted July 31, 2014 I gave this one my best shot for realism. What do you think? Everything done in 3DC.
Advanced Member Denis Posted September 19, 2014 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted September 19, 2014 (edited) This was inspired from stills from the award winning movie Pan's Labrynth. In fact the background photo is from one of those stills. Edited September 19, 2014 by Denis
Contributor Tony Nemo Posted September 19, 2014 Contributor Report Share Posted September 19, 2014 Denis, about the phone, the scale doesn't go with the hardware on the door. but is otherwise, realistic. The creature looks made of various materials but the eyes and lips don't correspond in texture with the rest.
