Advanced Member Ratchet Posted February 26, 2015 Advanced Member Report Share Posted February 26, 2015 Hi, When i draw lines for retopo, they are not very precise. Would it be possible to have a lazy mouse feature to draw lines lot more precisely. This would avoid us to have to do lot of vertices tweaking and moving work to have them correct after having drawn them. Thanks.
Reputable Contributor digman Posted February 26, 2015 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted February 26, 2015 (edited) Yes, a lazy mouse function would be great. The below does not mean your feature request is not a good one... Here is a way for more Precise control at this time... http://3d-coat.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=17414 A 3 part 3DC retopo tutorial by AbnRanger with more precise control. It could make rectangular/square, Elipses/Circles and lines that aren't in 45 degree increments. So many times I've wished I had this capability. I've asked Andrew a few times and he agreed it would be a good idea, but nothing ever came of it
Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted September 20, 2015 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted September 20, 2015 ....I would use the E-panel shapes with the Strokes tool so often, it woudl be like "how did we get by without this, all this time?"
