Advanced Member Aleksey Posted February 22, 2015 Advanced Member Report Share Posted February 22, 2015 I think this little thing would take it pretty far at being more user friendly for beginners. I know its a small thing, but it can't be that difficult to implement. was just watching the Master Class rock sculpting video posted here a while back. And when he brings his rock sculpt into zbrush it looks so nice, no wonder he prefers adding details and surfacing it there. Even though 3d coat is just as capable..
Contributor Michaelgdrs Posted February 22, 2015 Contributor Report Share Posted February 22, 2015 Yeap , was thinking this yesterday , and i found myself getting into the render room , and playing with the material presets over there. There are some , very close to the Z basic one.
Carlosan
Yes, and dont forget FOV. Theory said: A FOV of about 10-15 (similar to using an 135-85mm lens) for headshots and 30-40 (similar to a 50-35mm lens) for full body shots will prevent the ugly distortion that is typical when using a wide FOV setting. I found some info about equivalences here, but I could never replicate ZB fov.
