Can You Use A 40" 4K 60HZ TV As A Computer Monitor?

i dunno what that guy is on about, but i can tell you that his tv will suck for desktop display and will get rainbow effect. because it doesnt support 4:4:4 color on the hdmi 2.0 port.

on the right monitors. ( starting at 49" and the more expensive ones) you have a 10bit hdmi port (only one) which supports deep color. ie 4:4:4.

90% of ips monitors at 60hz. unless you buy the 144hz ones. But they cost waay more, and are only important if you game on at least a semi pro level.

for work more than 60fps is overkill.

 

i really think he has no idea what he is talking about... that tv can only display 120hz if it interpolates it itself. which makes everything lag..
