Member red2blue Posted March 4, 2015 Author Member Report Share Posted March 4, 2015 its free toooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ? B_LiE8AXIAAhKCu.jpg Jep, that was the super big suprise yesterday. All features are now free. No more Pro (re of features). If you allready ordered Unity 5 Pro and don't need it, you can get a refund. But yes, Unity 5 looks super cool. Hopefully 3D-Coat and Unity 5 will have a smooth PBR workflow
Advanced Member arumiat Posted March 10, 2015 Advanced Member Report Share Posted March 10, 2015 I happened to come across Substance Painter whilst reading about the new PBS in Unity. I read a few threads on the forums here but I'm still not 100% as to whether it does anything different to 3DC. As someone looking to create textures and materials primarily for the Unity game engine should I be considering Substance painter together with 3Dcoat? Is anyone able to break down the benefit of it? Thanks,T
