Contributor Tony Nemo Posted October 22, 2014 Contributor Report Share Posted October 22, 2014 I have a scene in which the panning, whether using the mouse, pen or tool bar cross, is much to fast. making it hard to work with. I deleted the usual suspects (xml) and couldn't return to a normal pan. Has anyone had this [roblem and solved it?
Javis
I have not had this happen before. Is this happening with any other applications or the mouse in general? Have you checked your mouse settings? Anything change with your hardware configuration lately? Do you have multiple mice connected to your computer, or a wacom mouse on your wacom tablet when this happens?
Contributor Tony Nemo Posted October 23, 2014 Author Contributor Report Share Posted October 23, 2014 It only happens with the project I am currently working on. Another .3B file does not share this anomaly.
Contributor ajz3d Posted October 23, 2014 Contributor Report Share Posted October 23, 2014 Maybe your scene has a very small scale? Have you tried reducing pan speed with sliders inside navigation settings?
Carlosan
Hi Tony Move in screen space settings is 1 ?
Contributor Tony Nemo Posted October 23, 2014 Author Contributor Report Share Posted October 23, 2014 All the "Speed" values are 1.000. The scale may be small but I didn't have difficulties until I added the last model.
Javis
Does the scene frame properly when you press SHIFT+A?

Javis
Hey Tony! I'm not sure exactly what's going on in your scene, it seems to have some unique bug though. Could you possibly file it on Mantis with that scene for Andrew to inspect? Thanks!
Contributor Solution Tony Nemo Posted October 24, 2014 Author Contributor Solution Report Share Posted October 24, 2014 I did send it to Andrew and he discovered memory blocks that didn't conform to any real data. He suggested error checking my hard drive. I divided the file up into single peaces and saved as 3b files. Most returned to normal speed in panning but one still retains the speedy gui. So bad HD sectors are something else to be concerned about.
