Can we use pbr materials while sculpting?

I haven't had time to look at the pbr yet. But if the materials are anything like marmoset, ddo real time window. That'd be amazing to sculpt with.

Does pbr work like this? Or it it only for texturing? Love some better real time shaders.

Yes you can use PBR Materials while sculpting. You just need to paint the material on first. There is one caveat, the materials will stretch in the areas you sculpt if the vertices are stretched far apart from their original locations, but this is to be expected. You can easily go back to the paint room and re-apply the PBR Mat though, so it's not terrible. :)

Plus if you are doing large scale sculpting for accurate re-application of the material you would need to rebake your cavity map and AO map for any materials that use the AO. Cavity takes only a moment but AO can be longer.
