why did my new scenes: have such dense voxel density?

I'm not exactly sure how to explain this. If I start a new scene and I draw in a primitive cube, that cube is already like 3,000,000 polygons.

the only way I know how to lower the density of my layer (I think) is by clicking the resample button?

if anyone has tried working with ZBrush dynamesh that density you can set yourself somewhere by saying like 228 resolution. Is there something similar to this in 3d coat that I just am not seeing?

I hope this makes sense.

Hi!

Starting a new scene with the default cube (Shift+M to pop up menu) dont give me that density

You can make a base cube and increase size using layer option -RMB over the layer-

Square brackets inform about layer density

Do you have a very high number ?
