Advanced Member Garagarape Posted May 7, 2013 Advanced Member Report Share Posted May 7, 2013 Hello there! It's a shame. I've been using 3dCoat for a while, but didn't noticed that navigation in the viewport changes if you set your model from voxel to surface. I've been using the right buton set on the wacom tablet side buton to zoom in or out. That was pretty handy to sculpt without using too much keyboard or mouse; unfortunately if it works in voxel mode, it doesn't in surface mode. Has someone noticed that? Or is that another trick of windows running another task and making the focus being lost? The version I use now is the beta 4.00 d12. Navigation set on 3dCoat mode. Advanced Member Garagarape Posted May 7, 2013 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted May 7, 2013 Ok, my bad. Seems that it is possible to have different custom navigations for voxel or surface mode. I was a bit puzzled that the voxel mode settings was not used by default for the surface mode. Hope it helps someone facing the same problem.
Advanced Member Garagarape Posted May 7, 2013 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted May 7, 2013 There was a problem with one of my scene with very big resolution. The problem I described above do not happen with a simple scene including for example, only a primitive sphere. In the end I saved a custom navigation preset and load it when the problem occurs...
