Member crushkittykitty Posted April 17, 2015 Member Report Share Posted April 17, 2015 the program itself runs fine but there is no text in the pop ups, my system is linuxmint 17.1 FX-8120 Eight-Core amd hd6700 - nouview (cant install ati-driver due to titian) nvidia titian m2090 - NVIDIA-SMI 340.87 Driver Version: 340.87 I download it unzip and open folder and run the 3d-coat-64, 3d-coat-32 any advise would be great. Member crushkittykitty Posted April 17, 2015 Author Member Report Share Posted April 17, 2015 tried 3 versions all the same latest the beta and 3-3-13 I am thinking its how im unzipping it and were unzipping it to the desktop with Engranpa think it should be done into the user folder with a terminal just cant think of the unzip comands. Member Solution crushkittykitty Posted April 20, 2015 Author Member Solution Report Share Posted April 20, 2015 (edited) ok fixed the issue AT least in 3.3.13 since I have both AMD and Nvidia since the AMD is used for xorg the nvidia isnt starting a simple modprobe nvidia then open program from terminal as normal hope this helps the next person with the same issue. also updated the AMD driver.
