New Member Fjester Posted June 23, 2014 New Member Report Share Posted June 23, 2014 So I've recently purchased 3D-coat, and I'm loving it. I've now installed it on my Surface Pro to try sculpting on my commute, and the program works like a charm! But wouldn't be so awesome if you could incorporate touch-controls and gestures, like pinch-zoom into the program? I realize it's quite the huge request, but I think it would be a big sales-point since Surface Pro tablets and similar are getting more and more popular with artists. New Member Fjester Posted June 24, 2014 Author New Member Report Share Posted June 24, 2014 1st Gen, but from what I've heard, the newer ones will work fine as well. Even Surface Pro 3 with it's N-Trig digitizer is supposedly great. Tho that is all second-hand opinion. I'm getting an i7 one once they are out in Europe, can't wait! Advanced Member Routb3d Posted July 9, 2014 Advanced Member Report Share Posted July 9, 2014 (edited) I would love to see multitouch navigation in 3D Coat.. My favorite NURBS modeler, MOI (Moment of inspiration) has Multitouch navigation in it's viewports and it's amazing and natural. 3DCoat will eventually come around.. I have a Cintiq Companion Hybrid and a Surface Pro3 that are waiting.. Isaiah Edited July 9, 2014 by Routb3d
