I can not remember if that was a bug in a version or two or it just rid of it each time... I am using version 4.0.09 beta and the problem no longer exist at least when you auto-retopo from the voxel room. You might consider upgrading to version 4 and then get the latest beta as the auto-retopo has been improved by leaps and bounds giving you all quads, no ngons or triangles plus it follows the curvature of the model better... I do have to tell you though the the auto-retopo routine is still in beta so the paint density seems somewhat buggy at the moment but now you hardly need it...
