Member Cotrino Posted October 26, 2011 Member Report Share Posted October 26, 2011 I was wondering if I can use my Wiimote to control the 3D position of my objects, while using my standard mouse for modelling. The accelerometer information (yau, pitch, roll) can be used to rotate the object in space quite naturally. For this specific purpose, I think it would be sufficient just to allow 2 mice, splitting the functionality. For example, left mouse for carving/tools/menus, right mouse for 3D navigation. By using external drivers, the secondary mouse could a standard one, a Wiimote, a gamepad, a flight stick, etc. I have noticed that the 3D-Coat interface can not be extended yet by using plugins. Is there any plan for the future? Thanks!
