Contributor Malo Posted October 8, 2013 Contributor Report Share Posted October 8, 2013 (edited) Hi I have a little problem with the retopo of small and thin objects. My model V.4.06 I am not able to catch something with Autopo and the usago of 10.000 polys, nor i am able to create something with the stroke tool. V4.07 Same as above, but autopo stops working at 100% and could not finish it. Befor i start creating it from hand or switching to Blender, i want to ask if there is a way to retopo it automaticly. Did anybody know a workaround in 3d coat? I have tried to export as quads, but the result is realy ugly. Same with normal obj export, it looks ok but the triangulated and decimated version is horrible to work with it. Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted October 8, 2013 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted October 8, 2013 Try using the Strokes tool. It can knock that out in seconds. Somethings it does things better and more quickly than even Auto Retopo. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G9FLQM5LqzA&list=PLlQ3JITh9bXOfcZqGuO8gClZisN6yUd1x&index=
