Member Flippers Posted December 26, 2014 Member Report Share Posted December 26, 2014 My girlfriend loves dogs and foxes, so i sculpted her a Fox piggy bank. I Then 3d printed out the pieces and i'm currently assembling it all togethter. I'll post pics of the 3d print when its finished. Side note. voxels are a huge game changer, i'm so greatful i stuck to learning 3d coat. some of the technical things i had to do for this simple model for 3d printing were a BREZE in 3d coat. being able to cut away voxels and not worry about polygons is the most FREEING way to work. doing the interior cutout of this model was cake, hasslefree. love 3d coat!

Looks really nice and clean. Maybe texture it some with Voxel/Vertex Paint and export to a format color 3D Printers can utilize. I don't do any 3D printing....yet. But, I know 3D Coat will export a model directly from the sculpt room, that you've painted (no UV's, all color is stored in the vertices themselves), in PLY format....which is one of those required for color 3D printing, here. //edit by admin https://www.solidconcepts.com/technologies/3d-color-printing/
