Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted June 20, 2011 Author Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted June 20, 2011 If someone wants to place any useful file on our server for common download, just drop me a letter, I will give FTP requisites. Just for sequrity - tell me first what do you want to upload there. Would forum members be able to download from the server by clicking a link, or would they have to e-mail and ask for it? Andrew Shpagin
Would forum members be able to download from the server by clicking a link, or would they have to e-mail and ask for it? Anyone will be able to download it clicking the link. But if someone wants to upload file he will need to drop me mail to get FTP address, login and password. Advanced Member BurrMan Posted June 20, 2011 Advanced Member Report Share Posted June 20, 2011 True, but you can only upload a 50mb file, and that is paltry by today's standards. Awe never noticed that... Just reviewed mine and it is 100mb, though still not adequate for this... My bad. Looks like Andrew has it covered. Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted July 5, 2011 Author Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted July 5, 2011 I had some trouble uploading the files to the FTP. I think it may be the software (CoffeeCup FTP) as well as my super slow upload speeds. I went back to ADrive, and put the same files back into the SHARED folder, so if anyone wants them, get em now. They make the SHARED status of the file expire after a few weeks...as it's a ploy to force users to upgrade. Maybe Andrew can have his web guy download these and place them in their new 3D Coat shared directory. I will try to add more soon. Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted August 27, 2011 Author Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted August 27, 2011 Quite welcome. Also, to those that want some sort of thumbnail system, the library is so large, I don't have time to spend all day creating thumbnails. If you want to see what brushes there are, the free ABR Viewer will let you browse entire sets at a time. That's why I say I don't have time. Each set has a range of different brushes. If you don't want a libary that you can download in one shot and pick through yourself, then I would advise going to ZBrush Central and Adobe's Exchange and pick what you want from there. Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted December 1, 2014 Author Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted December 1, 2014 Thanks AbnRanger There are some others in the 3DC Exchange Library section...and those show the pallet w/ thumbnails. What I was talking about in the old post above is the PS brushes. They tend to have multiple alphas per .abr brush set, and it would take forever to go through them and capture all the thumbnails of those.
