Reputable Contributor digman Posted October 11, 2015 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted October 11, 2015 (edited) Here are some references for you all and more so for those who are new to retopoing... These references will save you countless hours of hair pulling... LOL. The first link has to do with understanding how to go from either a few polygons to many or the other way around... A must knowledge when you are retopoing... The "Polygon Table for 3D modelling" at the bottom is a great handy reference. http://www.rbandeira.com/nfos/01_graphisme/polygon_tab_01.php?PHPSESSID=0b2a679609e663fa3d67e2fd294cef9e The second link is understanding how not to be afraid of poles but use them to direct edge flow. It is a PDF file. http://panoptic.com/rking/blender/GEN_SubD-ThreadHighlights.pdf Last is Javis Jones videos for controlling loops and solving poles and other problems in modeling / retopoing.
