Member photonic Posted January 15, 2009 Member Report Share Posted January 15, 2009 I'm new in VOX sculpting. I have been using zbrush for a long time, but I hate topology limitations of 3d meshes for sculpting. So I'll try to help this community to make voxel sculpting grows up!. Advanced Member akira Posted January 16, 2009 Advanced Member Report Share Posted January 16, 2009 more stuffI used this base mesh. Posed in Zbrush. Sculpted in Zbrush - 3DCoat (becouse I needed brushes like clay tubes or rake) I think "clay" in ZB equals the voxel "extrude" tool in 3DC, with the right first brush shape. About the rake tool you just need to load a proper brush shape and set some options: http://3dbrush.kriska.hvosting.net/forum/i...ost&p=10591 hope it helps. akira. Andrew Shpagin
Good progress! It could be good to separate mechanical details to other layer using copy brush and assign other material to them.

Advanced Member Eric Dandoy Posted March 4, 2009 Advanced Member Report Share Posted March 4, 2009 Just for you! Just for me? Really? Oh thank you so much! Great work, very good! Do you sculpt symetrically and transpose the limbs afterwards, or sculpt it like it is shown here?
Member photonic Posted March 6, 2009 Author Member Report Share Posted March 6, 2009 sculpted without symetrry on. I thought that will be better for the feeling of movement being sculpted in that pose from beginning. Is slower but...
