"O2" is a fast and very easy way of simulating realistic, physically based bubbles. The algorithm mimics the effect of a surrounding fluid on the actual bubble-fluid, which is in real life what gives shape and turbulence to a bubble, instead of the bubble shaping itself. The trick is to get the effect without an actual surrounding fluid...O2 can do that, which is why it is fast. Only one fluid is simulated, but you get the natural effect of two fluids interacting. Currently implemented as deamon-plugin for RealFlow. O2 operates on SPH-particles or Dumb, if you want to experiment. The Plugin offers three parameters: "Dissolve shape" controls how strictly O2 will try to preserve the "bell"-shape of a rising bubble."UpForce" controls the buoyancy force."Environment Friction" controls the friction between the bubble fluid and the non-existent environment.
