Hi guys I've just come back to 3d coat and start using 3.5.00. I find that there are a few tools in the retopo room that are not working that used to work in v3.3.08. For instance using the Brush tool to smooth is not working for me, I seem to have no response from it at all. Is there something I am doing wrong. As I said, it worked fine for me in an older version. Also, when I am ready to use the Relax command the mesh totally vanishes! Sometimes crashes. This is really ruining 3d-coat for me... and I dont know what im doing wrong. Any help please would be much appreciated. Maaazza

Hi forum I need some help please. I was running a full professional 3d coat license on fedora 6 for a few weeks with no problems. I have just updated my machine to fedora 12 and reinstalled my 3d coat license, but big problems, the 3d coat interface loads but it is totally unusable, everything crashes. Does anyone have any advice for me? Does anyone have 3d coat running on fedora 12? Mazza

Hi 3d coaters I am brand new to 3D Coat and am amazed by the tools, and have spent 2 days reading and watching some great tutorials. But I just want to make sure I am on the right path for the best workflow from sculpt to finish. So far I have 1. Sculpted a quick voxel model from scratch 2. Retopologized him. 3. Made some quick uv's. Now I need to know that I am on the right path to texture him. Also, what is the best way to export a map of the hi res details from the voxel sculpt to the retopo'd polygon model? Ideally I would like to test ptex out so any tips for my workflow here would be very very much appreciated. I have 27 days left of the free trial, in which time I am hoping to make some pretty bad ass models to impress my boss and persuade him to buy 3d Coat and we can begin using it in work. So please help me.
