Javis
Hi all! We're looking for some very good objects that can be used in a series of texturing videos. Mechanical, hard surface objects are preferred. If you'd like to see your work in the video (and get full credit of course), please let me know by emailing me at: 3d-coat AT javisjones DOT com. Thanks!
Javis
A few examples: Robots Armor (scifi, fantasy or mediaeval, etc.) Weaponry (firearms, axes, tanks, etc.) Vehicles (automobiles, lorries, etc.) Those are just a few examples, anything even remotely related is alright too. Thanks everyone!
Contributor Malo Posted January 27, 2015 Contributor Report Share Posted January 27, 2015 I want to help, but i am not sure if i could give you the quality you need. But i give it a try. Are there any rules? Like did you need high and lowpoly, what maps did you need, what resolution, is there a deadline for the objects and so on. Javis
Hey Malo! No real rules here, but for deadline, the sooner the better. The person recording the videos needs to review the assets. It can be high or low poly, don't worry about maps, but if you have any, that's cool too, but not necessary at all. The tutorial is a texturing tutorial so that will be covered in the video. If you have a high and low poly for baking, that would be grand. But not necessary. Carlosan
Bad King library is awesome is your friend ? Might ask if interested in sharing the same gallery objects but in .3b format ? Perhaps for him to add to his site 3DC users might be interesting ty
Advanced Member Aleksey Posted January 28, 2015 Advanced Member Report Share Posted January 28, 2015 the new stuff he publishes come in obj format. he's not a friend, but definitly a nice guy, i just asked him if he had obj's and he converted them for me. Im sure if someone volunteers to convert his files to 3dcoat ones he'll happily share them there. Just email him. But i think obj's are sufficient... and more useful, since the can be used everywhere then.

Advanced Member Gary Dave Posted April 27, 2015 Advanced Member Report Share Posted April 27, 2015 Little late to the party, but I have an old turret model already retopo'd and unwrapped (also textured, but you can remove that) if you want it?

Javis
Hi guys! Thanks for the offers! Last I heard David (CryUnreal) was still looking for content. I will point him to the thread here. Cheers!
Advanced Member kenmo Posted November 14, 2016 Advanced Member Report Share Posted November 14, 2016 I watched a few of your free tutorials when you were with Kurvis (spelling?) and purchased some of them when you were with Kurvis. The ones I purchased were worth every penny and very informative. And of a very professional quality.
