Straight duplicates (arrays)

For some reason I can find a straight forward array tool....I thought the instancer would be it but it isn't .

Say for instance I want to make  10 duplicates of an object from point A to point B ...how would I do that?

Or I want to say make a stack of objects in a cube pattern  that is 10 x 10 x 10 ..making a total of 100 objects .

I can see the radial array function in the tool list but what about doing it for straight 1,2 or 3 dimensional arrays?

Any experts here know how to do this?

Thanks in advance

I am no expert and it's not the most straight forward method, but give the Warp tool a go. For a linier array you would set the twist angle to 0 and the overlap can be set to negative values, which actually pushes the instances further apart.

Another method, in surface mode, would be the Split & Joint tool, which could be used as an array tool for cubes, cylinders & lathe objects. Think you might have to put it in another layer, so it doesn't split anything, as it's intended to do.

Hope it helps.
