New Member skumar Posted February 26, 2015 New Member Report Share Posted February 26, 2015 Hi Guys, I am a new member to this forum and this is my first post. Spent some time in this forum and truly excited about the resources and help available here. Congratulations to all of you!!! I want to know if Photoshop is necessary to do texturing of 3D models (created in blender) using 3D-Coat. I believe we can do texturing without Photoshop but would like to get inputs from the experts. Could you also point to the location where I can find video tutorials for texturing using 3D-coat. Thanks in advance. SK
Javis
Hi! Welcome. You can definitely paint in 3DC alone, without the need for PS. It's a pretty competent painting tool without using PS. That said, you can use them together too, in a number of ways (including sending textures to PS and bringing them back into 3DC with a few clicks). Here are some tutorials I'm aware of for painting in 3DC, by Kelvin Tan. They are all Blizzard style painting. https://gumroad.com/turpedo
Advanced Member vidi Posted February 27, 2015 Advanced Member Report Share Posted February 27, 2015 I believe we can do texturing without Photoshop yes because 3D coat is a great 3D painting (texturing)Tool . In addition You can use any PS Alternative with 3D coat . e.g I use Clip studio and it works exactly the same. The Option ext. Editor do not only means use Photoshop.
