Advanced Member castaneda Posted May 12, 2014 Advanced Member Report Share Posted May 12, 2014 Been trying hard surface modeling like mech suits but wasn't really getting the hang of it so I started more organic stuff like this centaur. I learned a lot about the brushes, like the grow brush and its ability to give me volume where I need it. Anyway here are some pics of the centaur.
Contributor Tony Nemo Posted May 12, 2014 Contributor Report Share Posted May 12, 2014 Nice! You might consider using the Pose tool to make the man part smaller or the horse part larger as he seems perched on a pony.
Advanced Member Garagarape Posted May 13, 2014 Advanced Member Report Share Posted May 13, 2014 Nice model and proportions (though those guys do not exist... anymore?) Can't wait to see more.
Taros
Nice start, but take a look at some templates/references. The anatomy needs some adjustements. Best wishes Chris
Contributor LJB Posted May 16, 2014 Contributor Report Share Posted May 16, 2014 I have to agree with Chris, Templates and reference, You might want to address scale also the 3/4 looks a little goat like by comparison top the human torso scale. Keep going
