Reputable Contributor digman Posted March 23, 2015 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted March 23, 2015 (edited) Ok, more workflow information is always helpful... I do not use Unreal Engine 4 but are you talking a Heightmap / materials for your landscape in Unreal 4. 3DC can create a displacement map which you should be able to as Heightmap and you can create materials, like dirt, grass snow etc... These can be exported separately. 3DC does not support exporting 16 bit png files for the Heightmap but there is tif, 32 bit exr etc. These can be converted to a 16 bit png file in Photoshop or another program. I am only answering the question based upon the information given so far so it might or might not meet your needs. For a more detail answer more specific workflow information is needed. My answer is based off this Unreal 4 doc... https://docs.unrealengine.com/latest/INT/Engine/Landscape/Custom/index.html#layerformat Edited March 23, 2015 by digman
