Advanced Member L'Ancien Regime Posted September 5, 2015 Advanced Member Report Share Posted September 5, 2015 (edited) I've been studying rigging a lot this summer and really it's a lot more than just giving figures skeltons so you can pose them. It's really just a subset of deformers. It's a very powerful way of modeling really. Now nobody likes it here when yu ask for something new because it takes away from their pet projects, but really isn't the POSE tool just a kind of deformer set up? Would it really be that difficult to continue it's development in terms of being a typical deformer with all the functionality of say, C4D's superb tool set of deformers? And once you go down that road is it that much more work to evolve the POSE tool/deformer tool set into a proper rigging system? It's not something to rush into but generally over the next 3 or 4 years it would be nice to see the POSE tool evolve this way. I like the POSE tool a lot right now It's a lot better without that old red control stick system..
