Hello to all,

I'll post my volumetrics in this thread

Aristides is my first real attempt in volumetrics

post-538-1225398932_thumb.jpg

Then a bird for my cat (I tried to keep it as simple as possible)

post-538-1225398893_thumb.jpg

And at least, two incremental savings of a human head: Ramses 2.1 with an upgrade to Ramses 2.2 (for those who have known him, don't expect to find here any likeness, don't really know where this name came from, I basically scupt to make some encounters, call this speed dating if you want :) )

post-538-1225398876_thumb.jpgpost-538-1225398850_thumb.jpg

Have a sweet night,

Eric

Nice job I really like the bird so simple of a form but a great image. Reminds me on a pixar short film called "for the birds"

Thanks for your comments

Next upload:

An abstract thing, maybe some kind of jewel, just for fun

post-538-1227096972_thumb.jpg

Then a bird's skull (no anatomical references, just the idea)

post-538-1227101193_thumb.jpg

And an Agnus Dei (no references either, just tried to get a scared expression, doesn't really looks like a lamb, but...)

post-538-1227101358_thumb.jpg

Have a nice day, folks!

A new WIP . Study of a woman's face (Esperan?a).

Just the basic shapes for now. Still a lot of work, for sure. At first the forehead has to be expended, working on the lids, improving the hair,...

Suggestions about general proportions, hairstyle or any other topic are always welcome.

Hi Eric,

You have very some very nice sculpts here. I really like your stile.

I can't seem to find a voice with the sculpt tools but you seem to have found a real nice caricature stile.

Just one question though, Esperan?a? Her name or you hope? :D Just kidding.

Thanks for posting your good work.

@ pimpmymonkey: thanks for your kind comment. Esperan?a (in portuguese) should be her name ( I hope so :) ) , but when I type a cedilla on my keyboard (belgian french) it sometimes results in an interrogation mark.

A little update:

Hey Eric,

I was just trying to make a little joke. Not very well done I'm afraid. I thought it was a typo.

If you speak Portuguese then you probably know that in Spanish, esperanza means hope, as well as being a fairly common name.

I don't speak Portuguese so please forgive my ignorance.

Anyway back on topic. Your latest is nice. I like the hair.

I tried to catch some character drooling in 3DCoat3 when the soft crashed after a render.

Last testimony of an uncomplete model so I photoshopped it a bit or two to give it a pop feel (and as raw and easy as possible).

Don't expect to see here a portrait of Jimi Hendrix. Let's say it's a young boy thinking about him...

Heavy postwork, but I loved this person, so...
