I have a scene in which the panning, whether using the mouse, pen or tool bar cross, is much to fast. making it hard to work with. I deleted the usual suspects (xml) and couldn't return to a normal pan. Has anyone had this [roblem and solved it? :(

I have not had this happen before. Is this happening with any other applications or the mouse in general? Have you checked your mouse settings? Anything change with your hardware configuration lately? Do you have multiple mice connected to your computer, or a wacom mouse on your wacom tablet when this happens?

I did send it to Andrew and he discovered memory blocks that didn't conform to any real data. He suggested error checking my hard drive. I divided the file up into single peaces and saved as 3b files. Most returned to normal speed in panning but one still retains the speedy gui. So bad HD sectors are something else to be concerned about.
