Contributor Tony Nemo Posted November 20, 2013 Contributor Report Share Posted November 20, 2013 Well, you are off to a good start. Perhaps the front feet could suggest a jump more in keeping with the hind feet. Right now they look like there on a surface.

Member YamSoup Posted November 21, 2013 Author Member Report Share Posted November 21, 2013 Thank you both. I am definatly looking to pose the model after retopologising it (its in a adlib t-pose at the moment) Could you give any indication of what is wrong with the proportions? I had trouble matching the front legs as they seamed to be different on every picture I saw.
Contributor Tony Nemo Posted November 21, 2013 Contributor Report Share Posted November 21, 2013 Sorry but I can only think of getting the proportions from a frog splayed for disection. Actually, any proportion anomolies are not that apparent to me. Perhaps the hind legs could be longer.
Member pgson Posted November 21, 2013 Member Report Share Posted November 21, 2013 Even if the pictures aren't the exact pose you have, if you can get your model rotated so the legs, for instance, are in a close perspective of one of the pictures, and model it to match, you can start to find the shape. It won't be right the other way, but you just repeat. Rotating the model to the next view, fix what's not working, and find inbetween the truth of what the form is. If that makes sense. It's what I've been doing and seems to work. (I usually have something like ten pics, at least, I'm looking at on my second monitor. It's a wonder my neck hasn't gotten whiplash yet :p) And if you're already doing this, then never mind.
