New Member pelos Posted May 26, 2011 New Member Report Share Posted May 26, 2011 i did this work in zbrush, but i dont want to do the retopo, i know the tools in 3d coat are super for this!!! i am in the retopology room, and import my mesh, and i get polygons, can i use the retopotool and project them into the polygons, or i have to do something so i can start to use them, the only thing i got was moving the points i imported in space but thats it. thanks.! I dont have tried to retopo that way, but you can create a new retopo-group and if you add vertices they are snapped to other retopo-groups. So you can rebuild the mesh that way, but i have no idea if that is a good way to do it. Maybe someone else can you give advices how to retopo your objects. Contributor Greg Posted May 27, 2011 Contributor Report Share Posted May 27, 2011 I think the way to do this (assuming you've exported obj out of ZBrush) is in 3D Coat File>Import>Reference Mesh.
