Advanced Member worldcrafter Posted July 1, 2015 Advanced Member Report Share Posted July 1, 2015 (edited) My file association for .3b files disappeared randomly, and so i clicked "choose default program" > browse > selected C:\Program Files\3D-Coat-V4.5/3D-CoatDX64S.exe. When i click ok the program is not added to the default programs list... how can i get the file file association right? Am using win 7 64bit Edited July 1, 2015 by worldcrafter

Advanced Member worldcrafter Posted July 1, 2015 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted July 1, 2015 (edited) There is no way i can open a 3b file with 3dcoat; so i have to open 3dc, then open the file inside the program. Contributor Michaelgdrs Posted July 1, 2015 Contributor Report Share Posted July 1, 2015 If its still not working then you have a win issue. I suggest to run Tune Up utilities , it has a function that corrects file associations.
Advanced Member arumiat Posted July 3, 2015 Advanced Member Report Share Posted July 3, 2015 Same issue for me, I always have to open from within 3DC, I'm hoping in Win10 will be sorted so not too worried
